Lowe is not a flashy signing, but 25 career starts are valuable when the guy ahead of him is 38 years old. He played every game for New England last season, started four late in the year and stayed available throughout their playoff run. At 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, he has enough size and experience to keep the offense functional if Trent Williams misses time. I have him at a five because he looks more like a useful swing tackle than someone you want starting for months. He can hold the spot for a while, but speed rushers and extended one-on-one assignments are the concern.
Strengths: Lowe brings NFL starting experience, good size and the ability to step in without changing the entire offense. He has played both as a starter and a reserve and remained available for every regular-season game in 2025.
Weaknesses: His career has settled into a backup trajectory, and New England reduced him from 13 starts in 2024 to four in 2025. He can struggle when isolated against quick edge rushers and has not shown enough consistency to be viewed as a dependable full-season starter.
