Kamara is an easy rookie to root for because the motor never shuts off. He piled up 47.5 tackles for loss in college and had a 10-sack breakout in 2024, winning with leverage and relentless pursuit more than ideal edge length. The concern is that he slipped to two sacks last season and now starts his NFL career on injured reserve. There is rotational potential here, but his development has been interrupted at the worst time.
Strengths: His compact build creates natural leverage, and he plays with urgent hands and outstanding effort. Kamara has a knack for slipping blocks into the backfield and keeps working down the line when the ball goes away from him.
Weaknesses: Shorter arms and only average edge length can leave him engulfed by NFL tackles if his first move fails. His sack decline in 2025 raised consistency questions, and injured reserve costs him valuable rookie practice time.
