Anderson earned this role rather than inheriting it. His appeal is honest versatility, toughness and enough experience in Buffalo's system to let the line stay flexible.
Strengths: Guard-tackle versatility, winning mentality, postseason experience and system familiarity.
Weaknesses: Limited full-season starting history and must prove he can hold up against top interior pass rushers.

Anderson has earned his chance the hard way. He was useful as the extra lineman, then showed enough versatility at guard and tackle to win the 2026 left-guard job. Thirty-four straight games and six starts tell you he is not new to the environment, but this is still a new level of responsibility. A six fits a tough, adaptable lineman with a real opening to become more. Now he has to turn the opportunity into week-to-week pass-protection consistency.
Strengths: He is versatile, durable and has experience in Buffalo's power packages and playoff games. Anderson brings good size, effort and a practical understanding of several interior and tackle responsibilities.
Weaknesses: Six career starts are still a limited sample, and his movement in space can be tested. He must prove he can handle elite interior pass rushers without the help or reduced role of an extra-lineman package.
