This could finally be the Kincaid breakout people have been waiting for. He looked less like a complementary tight end and more like one of Allen’s primary weapons.

Kincaid is the mismatch piece who lets Buffalo keep a pass-game threat on the field in heavier personnel. When healthy, his feel for space and hands make him a natural middle-of-the-field answer.

Strengths: Hands, route feel, red-zone value, separation and quarterback trust.

Weaknesses: Recent hamstring and knee-related absences make durability the key question.

When Kincaid is right, he is the Bills tight end defenses actually have to plan around. His feel in space, soft hands and receiver-like route pacing make him dangerous on option routes and in the red zone. Last year also reminded everyone that availability matters; he missed time with lower-body trouble before finishing the postseason hot. An eight is the right mix of real Pro Bowl talent and the need for a fully healthy, complete season.

Strengths: He separates like a big slot receiver, catches cleanly in traffic and has strong chemistry potential with Allen over the middle. Kincaid is especially valuable when Buffalo can create favorable linebacker or safety matchups.

Weaknesses: Lower-body availability was a factor in 2025, and he is more polished as a receiver than as a true in-line blocker. He can be squeezed by physical coverage when opponents prevent clean releases.
