he's been good when he's out there, he just keeps getting hurt which is annoying. escapes pressure like crazy and makes throws that make you go wow. hamstring is a concern tho. bears need him healthy to go anywhere.
Caleb Williams
Fell just 58 yards shy of becoming the Bears' first 4,000-yard passer in 2025.

Caleb Williams Scouting Report (4)
Caleb Williams will win the 2026 NFL MVP. Ben Johnson has unlocked him, and Chicago could have the league's best offense.
Williams took the leap Chicago needed. He set the team record with 3,942 passing yards, threw 27 touchdowns against only seven picks and cut his sack total from 68 to 24. The off-script magic is still the fun part, but last year he looked far more willing to take the answer the offense gave him. I have him at an eight because the 58.1 completion rate shows the easy throws are not automatic yet. The ceiling is higher if his down-to-down ball placement catches up to his creativity.
Strengths: Williams has rare arm-angle flexibility, escape ability and confidence attacking outside structure. His deep-range arm and movement stress every blade of grass, while the sharp sack reduction and low interception rate show improving command without sacrificing aggression.
Weaknesses: Routine accuracy still comes and goes, especially when his feet get hurried or he tries to create a bigger play than the concept requires. A 58.1 percent completion rate leaves too many manageable gains on the field despite the explosive production.
Williams has crossed from tantalizing talent into genuine franchise-driver territory. His clutch poise, explosive arm and improved command give Chicago a quarterback who can make both structure and improvisation work.
Strengths: High-end arm talent, athletic creativity, late-game composure, rapidly improving processing and exceptional ball security.
Weaknesses: He can still chase the spectacular play at times, and defenses will test whether he can stay patient against disguised coverage.
