texans are 0-3 and the offense is stuck in mud. he's not turning it over but he's not creating much either, and 10 sacks. looks hesitant compared to his rookie year.
Stroud still makes the difficult look routine when his feet and protection are right. His fast processing and touch outside the numbers give Houston a true answer against good coverage, and the early camp reports point to a quarterback comfortable in Year 2 of the offense. The challenge is sustaining that clean pocket rhythm every Sunday.
Strengths: High-level accuracy, calm pocket movement and mature decision-making. He can layer throws to every level and has the anticipation to make the offense efficient before a pass rush gets home.
Weaknesses: Pressure and protection continuity remain the conditions that most affect the offense. Houston should not let the scheme become too dependent on him repeatedly bailing out difficult down-and-distance situations.
