Bishop has the versatility modern defenses chase: he can play high, fit the run and make the calls work around him. He is still young, but Buffalo is clearly building around his range.
Strengths: Interchangeability, athleticism, range, youth and scheme flexibility.
Weaknesses: Continued growth in communication and full-season consistency is needed for a true top safety role.
Bishop went from promising rookie to a real centerpiece in year two. Eighty-five tackles, three picks, two sacks and seven breakups is a complete safety season, and the Wild Card game-winning interception showed he does not hide in big moments. He has the size to play the run and the instincts to make plays deep. An eight is deserved. The next challenge is proving this was the new floor, not just one excellent year.
Strengths: He has range, ball skills, tackling ability and versatility to play multiple safety jobs. Bishop can cover, blitz and trigger downhill, and his 2025 production showed strong all-around processing.
Weaknesses: He is still young enough for assignment discipline to fluctuate, particularly in a changing defense. The long-term grade depends on maintaining coverage consistency when offenses start planning specifically around him.
