denver finds ways to win and he makes the big throws when it matters. a few too many picks but he's super calm for how young he is. think he's underrated.

Nix's breakout may have been premature—the Broncos could have a real QB problem if this continues.

Strengths: Can execute when protected.

Weaknesses: Struggles badly under pressure.

Nix has become the quarterback Denver expects to have the ball late in a tight game. His mobility, poise and aggressive confidence are real weapons; Year 3 is about pushing that rise into a full championship run.

Strengths: Clutch play, mobility, accuracy on the move, leadership, deep-ball touch and competitive toughness.

Weaknesses: Ankle recovery must hold up under season-long contact, and he can still sharpen routine down-to-down efficiency.

Nix has already become the engine of Denver's offense. He plays with good movement, gets the ball out and has produced in every game of his first two years. The 2025 totals were strong, even if the efficiency was not perfect. An eight is a fair grade for a young quarterback with real command and rushing value. The next leap is seeing the field a fraction earlier and turning more of those drives into explosive completions.

Strengths: He is durable, athletic and productive, with 54 passing touchdowns and nine rushing scores through two full seasons. Nix can create outside structure and has shown the confidence to lead a playoff-caliber offense.

Weaknesses: The 2025 interception total and moderate yards per attempt show that he can be more selective and more explosive. He still needs to prove that he can consistently punish top defenses when the first read is covered.
