Large is still in the build phase, but tight ends who embrace the unglamorous work can hang around. His job is to become a player coaches can trust in every package.
Strengths: Developmental upside, willingness to block and a role that rewards detail-oriented growth.
Weaknesses: No meaningful NFL receiving résumé yet and limited room for offensive touches behind the starters.

Large has the profile of a player who sticks by doing several unglamorous jobs. He was a productive receiver at Dordt, then spent three years in Iowa's demanding tight-end room learning to block and move around the formation. Chicago currently has him third on one tight-end line, so special teams and physicality will decide his Sundays. I have him at a five: an interesting undrafted utility player, but one with no NFL snaps and a difficult path to targets.
Strengths: His background at tight end, running back and even defense shows unusual adaptability. Large has functional size, real blocking experience from Iowa and enough receiving history to avoid being ignored when he leaks into space.
Weaknesses: He was not a featured receiver at the FBS level and has yet to prove his athletic traits against NFL coverage. The Bears' deep tight-end room means he must excel immediately on special teams to hold a weekly role.
