Taylor is a useful depth corner because he can actually survive outside snaps and still earn his spot on special teams. He has 65 games, 12 starts and 15 pass breakups, and last season he kept contributing after a midyear trade from the Chargers to the Jets. He is not a ball-hawking starter, and the return-designated IR move means Cincinnati must wait for him. Once healthy, though, he should be a dependable fourth corner and coverage-unit regular.
Strengths: Taylor has legitimate speed, experience in multiple secondary roles and a willingness to tackle. His 21 career special-teams stops give him a clear weekly job, while 15 pass breakups show he can compete at the catch point when needed.
Weaknesses: He has only one interception in four seasons and has not locked down a permanent starting position. Quicker route runners can stress his transitions, and the current injury designation reduces his early-season value even though a return remains possible.
