24 tackles, 4 tfl and 2 sacks from the middle. best dt on a bad team, that's an all pro pace
20 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 tfl for a team that's 0-3. 10 tackles in the loss to the giants. he's honestly the reason that defense holds together.
Simmons is the kind of defensive tackle who can wreck a game without needing a perfect call. He can split a double team, drive a guard backward or close out a run before it gets started. The 11-sack season was not a fluke of role; it is the natural result of his power and urgency.
Strengths: Interior pass rush, strength, hand violence, run disruption and proven high-volume production.
Weaknesses: Faces constant interior doubles and carries a heavy snap burden on a thin front.
