Bowry has the length and movement skills to be worth developing at either tackle spot. His rookie season is about mastering protection communication and turning traits into steady snaps.
Strengths: Length, athleticism, left-right tackle experience, leadership and pass-protection college tape.
Weaknesses: Rookie adjustment, technique consistency and the challenge of NFL edge speed.

Bowry made the roster because the profile is easy to like: big frame, captaincy, tackle/guard flexibility and a final Boston College season without allowing a sack in 320 dropbacks. That is a real pass-protection calling card, even if college success has to be translated. I give him a six as a rookie with useful upside. The first year should be about mastering pro hand usage and showing the position flexibility Buffalo drafted him for.
Strengths: He has NFL size, captain-level maturity and a strong recent pass-protection résumé. Bowry can offer tackle/guard versatility and brings the competitive temperament Buffalo values in its line room.
Weaknesses: He has no professional game sample and must face faster, longer edge rushers than he saw in college. Technique can unravel if his feet stop, and switching positions can slow early development.
