Danna is the useful veteran chess piece who can give Buffalo sturdy, physical snaps whenever the top rushers rotate. His strength gives the front a different kind of answer.
Strengths: Quarterback-hit history, strength, experience, power-rush style and rotational value.
Weaknesses: Does not have elite bend or top-end speed and may be used more as depth than a featured closer.

Danna is the reliable, unglamorous edge addition. He has been through 87 NFL games, started nearly 50 and has a 6.5-sack season on the résumé, so Buffalo knows exactly what it is getting: effort, versatility and a defender who can handle a real rotational workload. His 2025 sack total fell to one, which keeps the grade at six. He is useful depth, not a player to expect to replace the top rushers' production.
Strengths: He plays hard, can align at several front spots and has extensive playoff-caliber experience. Danna uses sturdy hands, understands run fits and has shown he can generate interior pressure when a matchup favors him.
Weaknesses: His first step is average and recent sack production was modest despite starter snaps. He is better as a complementary edge who wins with effort and scheme than as a player who consistently beats premier tackles one-on-one.
