Luke Wattenberg

Wattenberg is the quiet traffic cop in a very good line. He has shown he can handle full-snap responsibility; staying healthy and sharpening the interior calls are the next steps.

Strengths: Snap-to-snap availability when healthy, line continuity, communication and starting experience.

Weaknesses: Shoulder injury history and less marquee individual production than the All-Pro bookends.

Wattenberg has quietly become one of the more important stabilizers in Denver's offense. He gets the ball to Nix, holds up in protection and had the kind of 2025 efficiency that earns a four-year extension. A seven is deserved. The late-season injury is the only real hesitation; when healthy, he has shown he can be a trustworthy starting center.

Strengths: He is a smart, steady center with excellent recent pass-protection results and meaningful starting continuity. Wattenberg has inside-out collegiate experience and plays a position that benefits greatly from his communication and consistency.

Weaknesses: His 2025 injury interruption means availability must be watched, and he is less of a dominant power player than some interior peers. He needs to sustain his anchor against the league's most physical nose tackles.
