1.5 sacks and a forced fumble, a sack last week. rotational but good in spots
Murphy finally started looking like a first-round pick last year. He led the team with 5.5 sacks, made 52 tackles and got stronger over the final half of the season. I have him at a seven. That sack total is not dominant, but the jump from zero in 2024 was real. Now he has to prove it was the start of something, not just one decent season.
Strengths: Murphy has rare size and power for the edge, sets a sturdy run front and showed improved pass-rush finish late in 2025. His workload and tackling both expanded substantially.
Weaknesses: His get-off and counter repertoire still lag behind elite rushers. Three seasons into his career, he has only 8.5 sacks and needs more consistent pressure production.
