Barrett arrives with a useful calling card: he made a lot of run stops in the SEC. That does not guarantee instant NFL production, but it gives him a clear way to earn snaps behind Caldwell. He should embrace the dirty work, learn the pro hand game and let the pass rush come later.
Strengths: Thick interior build, strong college run-stop production and extensive high-level college experience. He has a defined early-down role to grow into.
Weaknesses: He is a fifth-round rookie with limited starting history and no NFL production. Pass-rush development, conditioning and technique against stronger pro linemen remain open questions.
