4 pass breakups but 0 picks, 2-2 team. fine but i expected more ball hawking
on the colts now and playing fine, 3 pds. nothing wild.
Gardner gives the Colts a true No. 1 corner. He has the length and confidence to take difficult assignments, and his early All-Pro run proves the ceiling is not theoretical. A fresh start in Indianapolis gives him a chance to again set the standard for the secondary.
Strengths: Length, press coverage, ball disruption and elite early-career recognition. He can erase top targets and let the defense be more aggressive elsewhere.
Weaknesses: Corner play is volatile, and expectations will be enormous after the trade. He must stay healthy and avoid overcommitting when offenses use double moves and stacked releases.
