Bozeman turned a May waiver claim into a roster spot, which is a good start. I have him at a four because there just is not much NFL defensive tape yet. His job is to fly around on special teams, back up Carter and prove the defense can trust him if injuries hit.
Strengths: Bozeman has useful speed, linebacker-safety size and the urgency needed for coverage units. Surviving cutdown after a waiver claim shows he adapted quickly.
Weaknesses: He has almost no established defensive production and is already 27. Block deconstruction and coverage processing remain largely unproven at NFL speed.
