34 and still 11 tackles and 2 pds. nice vet for the chargers.
Tony Jefferson gives this room some welcome old-school bite. He was productive when called on in 2025, including four interceptions, and he plays like a veteran who sees route concepts developing early. He is ideal insurance for a defense that asks its safeties to be decisive and physical.
Strengths: Instinctive zone awareness, reliable tackling, ball production and years of situational experience. He brings calm communication and an assertive presence near the box.
Weaknesses: At this stage, he is better deployed selectively than asked to cover huge amounts of ground snap after snap. Speedy vertical matchups can test him more than his anticipation can erase.
