Dallen Bentley

Bentley is a fun late-round bet: an in-line body with actual receiving tape and confidence in traffic. Making the initial roster shows Denver sees a usable role now, even if the polish is still coming.

Strengths: Hands, contested catches, in-line potential, college production and red-zone upside.

Weaknesses: Rookie blocking development and limited pathway to targets behind established veterans.

Bentley earned attention the hard way: a breakout Utah season, then a seventh-round selection and an initial-roster spot. He has the build to work in-line and enough 2025 receiving production to be interesting downfield. A four keeps the rookie projection honest. The immediate mission is polishing the blocking and route detail that decide whether a young tight end actually gets weekly snaps.

Strengths: He offers in-line size, recent college receiving production and an ability to work as a hybrid tight end. Bentley's final Utah season showed real hands and red-zone potential rather than just developmental athleticism.

Weaknesses: He has no NFL game sample and needs technique growth as both blocker and route runner. Much of his college production came in favorable situations, so he must prove he can separate and finish through NFL contact.
