Knox remains the trusted veteran who keeps defenses honest near the goal line. He can block enough, find soft spots and make the kind of tough catch that extends a possession.
Strengths: Red-zone production, chemistry with Allen, experience, hands and two-tight-end versatility.
Weaknesses: Target share can fluctuate in a deep pass-catching group and he is not a pure volume separator.

Knox remains a very useful Bills tight end because he can do more than one thing without announcing the play call. He can get physical at the line, leak out off play-action and still find the end zone when coverage tilts toward the bigger receiving threats. His 2025 numbers were solid, and the new deal says Buffalo values that blend. A seven is a strong grade for a complementary starter rather than a target-volume star.
Strengths: He is experienced, physical and credible as both a blocker and receiving option. Knox has trustworthy red-zone instincts, play-action usefulness and a long track record inside Buffalo's offense.
Weaknesses: His week-to-week target volume can disappear in a crowded offense, and he is not the same separator as a receiving specialist. He must remain efficient when the passing game asks him to win isolated opportunities.
