What Scouts Are Saying About Joe Burrow
Joe Burrow Scouting Report (5)
most accurate guy in the league imo. 6 tds and 1 pick on 100+ attempts is super sharp. takes too many sacks still but he's always one step ahead of the defense. when he's right it's basically a cheat code.
Best QB in the league next years mvp
Burrow is still the whole operation. Even after missing nine games with the toe injury, he came back and immediately looked like himself: 17 touchdowns, five picks and a 100.7 rating in eight starts, with four-score games against Buffalo and Miami. He processes the field as well as anybody, throws with ridiculous placement and never seems rushed mentally, even when the pocket is chaos. I have him at a nine instead of a 10 for one reason: availability. The knee, wrist and now toe injuries are a real part of the evaluation. When he is upright, Cincinnati can beat anyone. The line has to give him a fair chance to stay that way.
Strengths: Burrow combines elite anticipation, accuracy and pocket toughness with total command of protections and coverage tells. He is especially good on money downs and in late-game situations, and his career 68.5 completion percentage reflects repeatable precision rather than a short hot streak.
Weaknesses: Durability is the obvious concern after another season lost mostly to injury. He also trusts his ability enough to hold the ball for difficult downfield answers, which can invite extra hits when protection leaks and sometimes turns a manageable play into a sack.
Joe Burrow is hands down the best quarterback in the NFL. He saved the Bengals from a lifetime of mediocrity and turned them into a Super Bowl contender.
Strengths: Joe Shiesty is a human cheat code when it comes to accuracy. He puts the ball right on the money every single throw. He has the highest completion percentage in NFL history. He doesn't panic when defenders rush him, which is often. His swagger on third downs and late in the fourth quarter is off the charts.
Weaknesses: Only weakness is his inability to stay healthy. He has missed too much time with big injuries, but he has bounced back every time.
