Watkins is still mostly an unknown at this level. He only caught two passes for 26 yards as a rookie, so I am not going to pretend we have a full NFL evaluation yet. What I do like is that he produced for a long time in college and finished his Ole Miss career with 906 yards and nine touchdowns in 2024. He is quick enough to work inside, can track the ball downfield and has a path to helping on punt returns. A five feels fair until he proves he can separate consistently and turn good camp reps into a regular offensive role.
Strengths: Watkins has extensive college experience, inside-outside flexibility and a history of finding explosive plays, including nine touchdowns in his final Ole Miss season. His route quickness and return ability give him more than one route onto the game-day roster.
Weaknesses: Two catches in four NFL games leave nearly everything unproven. He is not a dominant size or speed matchup, so he must win with detail and timing, and he still needs to show consistent releases, blocking and special-teams reliability.
