Farrell's job is pretty simple: block, play special teams and catch the occasional ball when everyone forgets about him. He played all 17 games last season and turned 11 catches into 85 yards and two touchdowns. His longest catch was only 11 yards, so nobody is confusing him with Kittle as a receiving threat. Still, there is value in a 250-pound tight end who can handle the less glamorous snaps and stay available every week. I have him at a five. He is a useful role player who does what the offense asks, even if he is rarely the reason a play succeeds in a spectacular way.
Strengths: Farrell brings size, durability and willingness as a blocker. He can handle in-line assignments, contribute on special teams and sneak into the flat or end zone when defenses sell out against the main weapons.
Weaknesses: He creates very little separation or explosive receiving value, with no 20-yard catches in 2025. Defenders can match him comfortably in space, and his impact depends heavily on blocking consistency because he will never command many targets.
