Height plays with the kind of motor 49ers fans are going to notice quickly. He had 9.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last year, then backed up the explosiveness with a 39-inch vertical at the combine. I have him at a six because the pass-rush upside is real and he is older and more experienced than the average rookie. The concern is obvious too: at 239 pounds, NFL tackles will try to run straight at him. If he holds up on early downs, he can become much more than a situational rusher.
Strengths: Height has explosive first-step quickness, a relentless motor and proven finishing production after 9.5 sacks in 2025. His experience across four programs gave him exposure to different fronts and assignments.
Weaknesses: His lighter frame can be displaced by powerful tackles and double teams in the run game. He was a late college breakout, so he must show that his final-season sack production translates against NFL protection.
