Shavers' story is currently about the rehab grind. His size and depth value are real, but Buffalo needs him healthy before it can count on any expanded role.
Strengths: Size, depth potential, work ethic and prior NFL-system experience.
Weaknesses: Recovering from ACL surgery and unavailable to begin the 2026 regular season.

Shavers gives Buffalo a different silhouette in the receiver room. At 6-foot-4, he has turned limited opportunities into chunk plays, and his 2025 average of 16.3 yards per catch was not accidental. A five is a good developmental grade for a player who has earned snaps and can stretch a defense. The challenge is staying healthy and turning flashes into a larger, more consistent weekly role.
Strengths: He offers true size, downfield juice and a demonstrated knack for creating long gains on limited targets. Shavers has already proven he can contribute in all 17 games and give the offense a useful vertical complement.
Weaknesses: His career target volume remains low, and health affected his 2026 offseason preparation. He must refine the full route tree and win more routine separation to earn opportunities amid a much deeper receiver group.
