Chubb gives Buffalo an adult presence on the edge: strong, physical and comfortable setting the defensive tone. He should help turn the front from reactive to genuinely aggressive.
Strengths: Power rush, experience, physicality, sack production and edge-setting run defense.
Weaknesses: Veteran workload and past durability demand monitoring in a high-pressure role.

Chubb gives Buffalo a real upside swing at edge. When he is right, the power, length and finish are that of a top-end starter—he has a Pro Bowl, a 12-sack year and plenty of evidence that tackles cannot simply sit on his outside move. The issue is health, not talent. A seven respects what he can still be, while recognizing that the injuries make a full 17-game expectation too optimistic until he proves otherwise.
Strengths: He has rare power for an edge player, strong hands and experience converting pressures into sacks. Chubb can set a physical edge, work through tight ends and change protection plans when his burst is available.
Weaknesses: The injury history is substantial and makes availability the central question. He can lose some bend or snap-to-snap burst after long recoveries, so Buffalo needs depth to avoid overloading him.
